About Finch
Preparation should have a direction.
Finch Learning was created for families preparing at home who had resources but no plan — plenty of books, worksheets and advice, and no clear answer to what should be learned next.
Why Finch exists
Entrance preparation usually starts with good intentions and a shopping list. A practice book here, a past paper there, a recommendation from another parent. What gets lost is the thing that matters most: a sequence. Without one, families end up repeating what a child can already do and skipping what they can’t.
Finch takes that decision off the kitchen table. Each month arrives already mapped against the relevant UK National Curriculum expectations, with the learning, checking and assessment built in.
What Finch is
Finch is a preparation system, not a resource library. It decides what should be covered, when it should be covered and how you find out whether it has landed.
Families who want more involvement can move up the support ladder — from a structured plan they run themselves, to preparation Finch shapes, marks and reviews around their child.
