Cancellation & Refund Policy

How to cancel a Finch membership, and how refunds work.

Last updated 22 September 2026

Finch Essentials is a monthly recurring membership with no minimum term. You can cancel whenever you like, and there is no cancellation fee.

How to cancel

You can cancel your Finch Essentials membership at any time by emailing hello@finchlearning.com from the address you used at checkout, or by telling us the name and email on the membership. There is no cancellation fee and no minimum term. We will confirm your cancellation by email and your membership will not renew again.

You do not need to telephone us and you do not need to give a reason.

What happens after you cancel

Cancelling stops future renewals. It does not take away a learning month you have already paid for: the pack for that month is still yours, and your access normally continues to the end of the period you have paid for unless you ask us otherwise or a refund applies.

You will not be charged again after we confirm your cancellation, and there is no cancellation fee or notice period.

Cancellation timing and the monthly fulfilment cut-off

The 22nd of each month is Finch's operational cut-off for preparing the following month's packs, not a deadline for cancelling.

Because printed packs are prepared ahead of the learning month, a cancellation request received after a month's fulfilment cut-off (the 22nd) may arrive once the next pack has already entered preparation. Where that happens we will tell you what has already been prepared or dispatched. This is an operational timing point only and does not remove or limit your statutory cancellation, refund or digital-content rights.

Your statutory cancellation rights

As a consumer buying online you normally have a 14-day statutory right to cancel a new contract. Specific rules apply to downloadable digital content, and to goods, which can affect how that right works in practice.

We will always deal with a cancellation request in line with the law that applies to your order and will explain clearly where anything affects your rights.

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights as a consumer under UK consumer law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

Refunds

Refunds are handled in accordance with applicable consumer law and the circumstances of the individual order. Where a refund is due, we make it to the original payment method.

If a resource is faulty, will not open, is the wrong year group or subject, or has not been supplied as agreed, email hello@finchlearning.com and tell us what happened. We will put it right — by resupplying, repairing or refunding as appropriate.

We do not operate a blanket "no refunds" rule.
